The classic rug is made of durable jute and coir fibers. The contemporary terra cotta finish of the jute coir rug blends well in any furniture setting. The classic finish has no border design at its edges that makes it a perfect choice for contemporary home décor. The handspun jute coir has a natural tendency of water resistance and can be washed freely without any fear of fabric damage. The rugged surface of jute coir rug attracts the dirt and accumulates it underneath hence it does not get dirty for a long time and requires minimum washing.

• The artisan is committed to eco-friendly manufacturing and sourcing. Extensive measures have been taken to assure all processes meet the requirements of sustainable production. Only plantation-grown and reclaimed woods are used for production.
• Water based lacquers are used in the finishing process. These lacquers are non-petroleum based and are friendly to the environment and workers.
• All raw wood is kiln dried
• When a product is made with reclaimed wood, these reclaimed woods are sourced from old ship yards and buildings.
• Each piece is hand finished and sealed with a water-resistant light lacquer
• The appearance of finishes, tones, textures and grains will vary somewhat from piece to piece due to the nature of the wood and the hand-finish process
