This rug is made of seagrass fiber which is a hard and smooth finish fiber with natural easy care and durability properties that resist soil and stains. The beefy ribbed construction of the rug is suitable for high traffic areas. The natural seagrass finish of the rug blends well inside any home décor scheme.

• The artisan is committed to eco-friendly manufacturing and sourcing. Extensive measures have been taken to assure all processes meet the requirements of sustainable production. Only plantation-grown and reclaimed woods are used for production.
• Water based lacquers are used in the finishing process. These lacquers are non-petroleum based and are friendly to the environment and workers.
• All raw wood is kiln dried
• When a product is made with reclaimed wood, these reclaimed woods are sourced from old ship yards and buildings.
• Each piece is hand finished and sealed with a water-resistant light lacquer
• The appearance of finishes, tones, textures and grains will vary somewhat from piece to piece due to the nature of the wood and the hand-finish process
